Cuban Documental receives the “Vigía” prize

With a critical eye to the realities of Latin America was closed the International Festival of the New Latin American Cinema in the movie theater Velasco, Matanzas , a city that for 33 years has served as the only main co-host the event and delivering a prize in .

” The film festival , under the direction of Carlos Barba , contains important moments in the life and work of Humberto Solas, a renowned director of iconic films of national bill as Honey for Oshun and Lucia. ”

In the evening , the audience enjoyed the film The Game , Antonio Helms, Cuban- Spanish co-production raises a controversial reflection on masculinity, from the relationship established between Reinier , a young man in night rental your body to foreign tourists, due to the difficult economic situation in which he lives with his girlfriend and her daughter at the home of the grandmother of this , and Yosvany , his playing partner .
