The Unit for Science, Technology and Innovation of the territorial delegation CITMA in Matanzas, announces the seventh workshop tenas @ CIT 2014, scheduled from 11th to November 13th this year, in Matanzas city.
As in every edition of CIT @ tenas, researchers and specialists in the country will have the opportunity to share experiences, exchange views and develop proposals to enhance the role of science, technology and innovation in sustainable development.
To serve that purpose, in 2014 CIT @ tenas forums on the management of science, technology and innovation in the socialist state enterprise and other forms of non-state production will be performed; experiences in education and scientific culture: its role and challenges, as well as local development, strategic planning, knowledge networks and sustainability
Roundtable scientific bases and alliances to the attention of the coastal areas, feasibility analysis in regional projects initiative, knowledge management and innovation with a focus on sustainable progress, industries and the introduction of be treated environmentally sustainable technologies.
Likewise, he will meet a special panel related to the integrated and sustainable production of food and energy.
So until the first of October, the summary of each investigation will be received at the Department of Science, Technology and Innovation of the territorial delegation CITMA in Matanzas. Notifications of acceptance will be announced the 17th of the same month.
Each researcher has a deadline of October 31 to deliver his speech
Tenas @ CIT is a workshop that is co-sponsored entities and agencies such as the Academy of Sciences of Cuba, the Camilo Cienfuegos University of Matanzas , the Juan Marinello of Pedagogical Sciences, the Center for Information and Technology Management Matanzas (CIGET) GEF-UNDP Project Sabana-Camagüey, the Experimental Station of Pastures and Forages Indio Hatuey, the BIOMAS-CUBA Project and the agro-energy, among others.
This gives continuity to a workshop in its sixth version, made during October 23rd, 24th and 25th 2013, favored the presentation and discussion of twenty works in which they discussed issues such as:
– The need to develop strategies and methodologies work to develop local development projects and that these projects contain the necessary feasibility studies for the project is approved by decision makers.
– The urge to train managers and stakeholders from state and non-state enterprises in the areas of innovation, knowledge management, business intelligence pointing strongly toward the local development of the province and the country.
– The design of web pages to market the products obtained through local development projects.
– Generalization and implementation of efficient energy systems.
