A selection that fixes all its senses in the integrity of its workforce, gives greater merit to the already recognized demonstrated ability of some 19,000 men and women who work in the tourism sector in Matanzas, Cuba’s westernmost province that has in Varadero the main pole of sun and sand of the island.
Under the slogan “Joining Wills”, it is held in Matanzas, and throughout Cuba, the International Week of Equal Opportunities between November 27th and December the 3rd, instituted by the United Nations World Day persons with Disabilities.
The researcher Urbano Martínez Carmenate became the first person from Matanzas awarded with the Ramiro Guerra Prize, by the National Union of Historians of Cuba because of Byrne, el verso de la Patria, published by Matanzas publications.
With the presence of Eugenio Mainegra Álvarez, president of the National Group of the Forum of Science and Technology, Matanzas province evaluated the behavior of its management in a transcendental sphere for the Cuban economy.
