With the presence of Eugenio Mainegra Álvarez, president of the National Group of the Forum of Science and Technology, Matanzas province evaluated the behavior of its management in a transcendental sphere for the Cuban economy.
After I read the report that reviewed the events of the year 2014, representatives of almost all of the 13 Matanzas municipalities agreed on the urgency of raising the effectiveness of the performance of provincial group and its local branches, corresponding to the lineaments of economic and social policy, adopted at the Sixth Party Congress.
As it transpired, in the period analyzed, it was recognized that all municipalities experience a visible progress, except two that were granted the status of Regular, Jagüey Grande and Limonar, the latter also criticized for his absence to the relevant call.
By the application of results and their sustained and efficient performance, they recognized the most prominent organizations, relationship in listed SOMEC, the Distributor Fuel Thermal Power Plant Antonio Guiteras, LABIOFAM, Company Drilling and Oil Production, University of Medical Sciences, Electromedical and the Juan Gualberto Gómez International airport.
According to the report, the 553 centers linked to the Forum have provided useful solutions, mostly for priority programs such as food, Import substitution, energy conservation and efficiency, and environment, to name a few.
Eugenio Mainegra called Matanzas Provincial Group Forum to remove any impediment to limit the scope of the solutions that are available in the labor collectives and urged generalize everything that can be useful to the province, which will do much good, he said, the territory and the quality of life of its inhabitants.
