The 2015-2016 sugar cane harvest began in Matanzas

The 2015-2016 sugar harvest began today in Matanzas province by the Jesus Rabbi sugar mill, located in              Calimete territory, with the commitment to comply and be eficients. The start  at the mill was firm and the factory demonstrated the quality of its repairs. In addition, the process was carried out comprehensively between agriculture, industry and transportation, argued Tomas Zamora, head of the harvest.
“The sugar mill, in the last harvesting stopped by constant breaks in the factory. This year the area was prioritized jogger, mills and returned many retirees in the sector, leading technology combined with experience, “said the manager.

“The harvest will be checked  in real-time, minute by minute. We personalize the issues and are confident that the ingenuity and their workers will comply, “he said Tomas Zamora, who led last year the René Fraga´s harvest.

In today´s sugarcane production stand out the Agricultural Production Cooperatives: Alexander Stambolisky  , as well as, the  28 de  Enero  and  the Dagoberto Rojas, which has the best performance in Cuba.

“The technical-economic plan of the province for this race exceeds by 14 percent the last year’s figures, as well as the efficiency of the industry will be higher,” said Ricardo Calero, director of the Matanzas  Sugar Company .

After a long period of repairs will gradually incorporate the other mills in the province.
On December 5th, the sugar  cane harvest is starting for the René Fraga sugar mill, in Colon; then the Mario Muñoz, in Los Arabos, and Mexico, also in Colon territory.

Efficiency is the main motto of the harvest, coupled with the desired productivity and compliance with the province.
