Esteban Lazo Hernandez exchanges with delegates of People’s Power and leaders from Matanzas

The president of the Cuban Parliament Esteban Lazo Hernandez, traded in Matanzas with executives of People’s Power and leaders of various sectors of society. The meeting called for strengthening the role of the delegate and its role, as well as seeking solutions to the approaches of voters.

Among the approaches of the people stand low voltage, difficulties in street lighting, problems with the water supply in some areas, cleaning sewers, the application of materials of construction and repair of roads. In this regard, member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of Cuba (PCC) spoke with those responsible for these agencies in order to address the concerns of neighbors and at the same time promote the solution together.

Lazo, accompanied by the first secretary of the PCC in Matanzas province, Teresa Rojas Monzón, addressed issues related to planning and prevention as weapons management, development and control, as well as the plan of fighting crime, social indiscipline, the illegalities and corruption, which have a gradual decline, although more combativeness is required.

Lazo emphasized the functioning of the governing body, vital at the moment in which the democratic system is perfected and requires working with efficiency, organization and control, as well as their relationship with the community factors and institutions conducive to improving the welfare and quality of life of the people.

President of the National Assembly of People’s Power spoke with leaders of Agriculture about the possibility of producing more food, while an interest in monitoring the measures taken against dangerous mosquito Aedes aegypti. He also received information on the sugar harvest, the good performance of tourism and especially the activities performed by the 325 anniversary of the city of Matanzas and other investments, as the conclusion of the Sauto Theatre.
