Playa Girón Museum is receiving more visitors

After a principal restoration, the Playa Giron museum in the municipality of Zapata Swamp of Matanzas province, increases the arrival of visitors attracted by the heroic struggle waged by the people during the mercenary invasion.
A 55 years after the events of the Bay of Pigs to the cultural institution frequented by foreigners and tourists throughout the island for the history of the epic.
In the Bay of Pigs Museum, in the Zapata Swamp, visitors can see photos and belongings of the fallen fighters and the progress of that territory in 57 years of Revolution.
Among the pieces of great value are preserved is the uniform of Eduardo Garcia Delgado, a young man who lost his life in its fullness and that people remember that at death he wrote with his blood the name of Fidel.
