Gloria Machado León 8 marzo, 2017

Melodies for the art of the tables. A stream of good news flows through the Pelusín del Monte Cultural Center, home of Las Estaciones theater, as blood is pumped by walls and curtains to prolong life.

The same stream of energies bursts the stage to recreate a home. The zenith illuminates an armchair, a girl and her wrist in the empty space of a departed grandmother.

Theatrical passage of the work Song to be with you, that in the month of April proposes an invitation to the room Pepe Camejo, but this time for the official launch of his DVD. Codes to visualize the theater through the cinematic look.

“Every year our group is inserted into interesting and attractive projects, whether personal or collective, something to say in the country’s stage. Song to be with you is a show of 2011, taken to the DVD format to a year of its premiere under the Colibrí label, “said Rubén Darío Salazar, director of Las Estaciones Theater.

“It is a concrete triumph to be able to offer the family this stage with music sung by Barbara LLanes and played by the Youth Symphony of the Higher Institute of Art (ISA) with the baton of José Antonio Méndez Padrón. A kind of gift composed, in addition, by the lyrics of Latin American authors like Octavio Paz, Claudia Larz, among others, “he said.

Based on a text by Norge Espinosa the staging was directed by Darío Salazar, with the peculiar design of Zenén Calero Medina.

A kind of theatrical ball that incorporated, in 2011, several demonstrations. Especially when the cast of the group were joined by figures such as the dancer and choreographer Yadier Durán and the singer Bárbara Llanes, as a debut in the art of the tabla.

I appeal to the memory to think in the first scene when the voice of Llanes is drawn by the light, in a shudder of the soul.

The DVD has the realization of the team of Marcel Beltrán that by way of test proposes this variant realized in the room Pepe Camejo, seat of the theatrical grouping.

Also, Salazar, explained that the play represents a search for sonority, arrangements and a literature that powers concrete and beautiful images to children.

About the DVD added: “This is a film with several shots that has a different production. A complex process that cost to materialize to take it into the hands of the public. “

The impression of the grandparents is indelible. Their teachings endure, they serve as consolation to clothe the sorrows.

There are no limits to the affection, nor obstacles that stand in the transmitted legacy.

Song to be with you evokes the heart of a grandmother who through her children’s imagination guides her granddaughter and invites her to grow.

A reading of the many inserted in the theatrical piece that next April will return in audiovisual support. One more way to look for ways to spread the art.
