The delegation that will represent health workers at the first National Conference of the Union of the sector, was flagged this morning in the El Morrillo Memorial, National Monument, where rest the remains of the revolutionaries Antonio Guiteras Holmes and Carlos Aponte.
With the presence of Santiago Badía González, general secretary of the guild in Cuba and leaders of political and mass organizations of the yumurino territory, the 18 members of the group expressed their commitment to bring to the meeting the main concerns of their representatives, according to Arelis Martínez Castro, graduated in social and occupational rehabilitation at the Psychiatric Hospital of Matanzas.
Dr. Florever Barreto Fernández, secretary of the union bureau of the clinical-surgical hospital Faustino Pérez Hernández, commented that being the youngest delegate in the group poses a great challenge, because all the workers in the province will be hiding in her voice.
Improving the working conditions of men and women who care for the health of the population and improving the emulative system are among the proposals of this delegation, says Gloria Martínez Salcedo, Secretary General of the Union in Matanzas.
The meeting will become new paths that will allow the public health Matancera to turn to excellence.
