Geography professor Abel Duniesqui Valenzuela Vizcaíno, from the Generación del Centenario high school, in Matanzas, was elected as a direct delegate to the 19th World Festival of Youth and Students, which will be held from the 15th to the 21st of October to come In the Russian city of Sochi.
Surrounded by his colleagues and students in the square where daily morning sessions take place, the educator received the credential that accredits him as delegate to the international youth meeting held by the president of the Organization of Pioneers José Martí, Aymara Guzmán Carrazana. The moment was propitious for the hugs and congratulations and demonstrate to the young person that they have all their confidence in him to represent them worthily in the event.
With excited words the delegate expressed that he will raise his voice in the Festival and will ratify the position of Cuba to maintain its principles and the achieved achievements, mainly in the sectors of Education and Public Health. He condemned the speech of the United States president in Miami.
Abel also said that Cuban young people carry in their hearts the teachings that Fidel left them, such as his concept of Revolution, where he expresses solidarity, humanity and other postulates and thoughts that he will share with his colleagues.
The moment was opportune for the delivery of the card of the UJC to several outstanding young people, who were deposited in their hands by the member of the provincial bureau of the Communist Party of Cuba in Matanzas, Olga Lidia Ramírez González; Boris Luis Guerrero Delgado, first secretary of the Party in the municipality head; And Yannara de la Concepción Domínguez, the first secretary of the UJC in the province.
