The Choreographic Theater of Yadiel Durán and Teatro de Las Estaciones will reap the next Saturday, November 4th, at 9 o’clock in the evening and on Sunday, November 5th, at 4:00 o’clock in the afternoon, at the Sala Pepe Camejo, the show Cuatro , staging where from the mix of dance, music, literature and theater tribute is paid, among others, to the pianist and composer Ernesto Lecuona, the singer and actress Rita Montaner and the guerrilla and cultural promoter Haydée Santamaría.
Since its premiere last January, the assembly has garnered a critical and unexpected success for a laboratory work, with which the young dancer and choreographer Yadiel Durán obtained the Santa Camila creation grant from Old Havana, the UNEAC Kills. The talents of María Laura Germán, in dramaturgy, were added to make the project a reality; Johann Trujillo in graphic design; Zenén Calero in the design of costumes, stage space and lights, and Rubén Darío Salazar in the artistic direction.
Iván García, actor of Teatro de las Estaciones, and Anis Estévez, dancer of Danza Espiral, add their talents to those of Durán and Germán in the fields of interpretation and dance, to give life to a staging of which it was said in the press “Cuatro is a collective creation project that emerges on the scene as a metaphor of existence with a living, strong and realistic dialectic. Four personalities of Cuban culture and history converge in the tables, reliving, from the most unfathomable interpretation of art, anecdotes of his life. “(1)
