Without education there is no future

Gloria Machado León 10 noviembre, 2017
The need to opt for pedagogical careers in the face of the deficit of teachers in the Matanzas territory captured the attention of the FEEM students during their provincial assembly; The reasoning went from the underestimation with which this career is viewed to the influence of the family in decision-making.

On the occasion, the provincial secretariat was elected, at the head of which Yaikel Puentes Malagón was ratified, and the 15 Matanceros delegates were delegated to represent the province in the national assembly of the organization.

On behalf of 17 189 students from 70 centers, the delegates recorded that:

Without the teachers, the country would be deprived of sustainable development in the future (Miney González González, third year of the Roberto Coco Peredo Pedagogical School , of Colón).
To guarantee the future of the Revolution, Cuban education must be guaranteed (Yaikel Puentes).
It is necessary to enhance the work of the teacher, strengthen the movement of monitors, class festivals and skills workshops (Yanetsy Fuentes Lopez, member of the Provincial Bureau of the Young Communists Union).
The defense of the Homeland is not gender or sex, but equality of rights and duty (Irene Rivera Ferreiro, Deputy Minister of Education).

-They also discussed the study of the History of Cuba, the rejection of academic fraud, the formation of values, the payment of the student fee, and the role of the organization to achieve the success of the next general election of the People’s Power.
