In order to perfect the art related to the cooking and preparation of food in the territory and promote the development of training courses and improvement on the subject, the Culinary Association of Matanzas opened a classroom with capacity for 20 students.
Humberto Milián, president of the guild in the province, explained to Radio 26 that it is a didactic classroom that has a kitchen with the necessary conditions to teach theoretical and practical classes. He also said that the implementation of this project responds to an old anelo of the Culinary Association of Matanzas.
Among the main courses that will be taught in the town are those of Bakery, Hygiene and Food Handling, Sauces and how to use the most stylized cuisine depending on the diners. For the successful development of the educational process the Association has a faculty of recognized professionals in the activity they develop.
Raising knowledge about the best of Cuban and international cuisine is the highest aspiration of the culinary Matanzas.
