The members of the Provincial Bureau of the Communist Party of Cuba, led by their first secretary in Matanzas, Teresa Rojas Monzón, toured hospitals and places of economic interest, as part of the day for the 65th anniversary of the assault on the Moncada and Carlos Manuel de Céspedes Garrisons.
At Faustino Pérez Hernández hospital, the delegation spoke with its director, Dr. José Ernesto Hernández Guerra, about constructive maintenance and the assembly of medical and non-medical equipment, while a room for people with transmissible diseases and a cubicle for family members was built, patients in intensive therapy. They are also involved in providing service to burn victims.
The party leaders held an exchange with the director of the Pediatric Eliseo “Noel” Camaño, Dr. José Hernández Hernández, who said that this institution reached 50 years of constitution and have served 3,172 children in the Guard Corps, during the first semester of the current year. The doctor also referred to the process of repair and construction maintenance in twelve construction working objects and the remodeling of the Emergency Room.
The trip included a visit to the Athens shop in Cuba, which stands out in the virtual work of the electronic commerce service to the outside world. Likewise, it was exchanged with the Business Base Unit for the Transportation, Marketing and Insurance of Fishing with an efficient food management.
The politico-cultural act of the municipality of Matanzas for the heroic deed of the Moncada was held in one of the emblematic places near the Fire Department, where a vehicular parking is conditioned and in which the town paid tribute to the martyrs of July 26th . During the activity, a large group of activists and workers received the official document that make them members of the Cuban Communist Party and groups of workers that have the condition of Vanguardia Nacional were recognized.
