The failed attack against the president of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, demonstrates the level of the reactionary escalation that unleashes imperialism in the figures of the world’s progressive leaders, to the point of using methods such as murder, imprisonment and the massacre of civilians.
These imperial mechanisms are not new. They have used them throughout history and much more in Latin American nations, where their leaders have suffered and resist the aggressions of the opposition forces, full of violence and brutality.
Who does not remember what happened with the Commander in Chief. More than 600 attacks of various kinds are calculated to eliminate the maximum leader of the Cuban Revolution.
Also the president of Bolivia, Evo Morales, revealed that the security forces had frustrated two assassination attempts against him and other high officials.
That without counting now the prison of Lula; the harassment of Cristina Fernández and Rafael Correa; the murder of social leaders in Argentina, Colombia and Mexico, to name the most publicized.
The important thing, in my opinion, is that these acts, instead of bending wills up the fighting spirit of the people and indicate that the enemy is always trying to carry out their purposes in fact, so you have to be alert and vigilant and rigorously apply the weight of the law against whoever commits those reprehensible crimes.
