The Life Task of confronting climate change, approved in Cuba on April 25, 2017, advances in Cárdenas territory with a group of topics under study.
This strategy has a well-designed scientific base, said the head of the Department of Agricultural Development of Agriculture in the Flag City, Amado Solá Gamboa, and stated that it has been a success for the farmer who is in the furrow.
The director also mentioned the project related to men who work on farms and belong to Agricultural Production Cooperatives and other facilities that benefit from the results.
Solá Gamboa added that the Life Task protects man, especially in confronting climate change with a political and ecosystem approach, fundamentally in the conservation of wetlands.
He highlighted as an example the implementation of actions that take place in the Oil Drilling and Extraction Company of the Center. The collectors have the Environmental Recognition due to the training of their workers and the sense of belonging, since with this strategy the tourism sector is protected in Varadero.
