During the months of September and October the unit of the Services Company of the Sugar Agroindustry (ESAZUCAR) in Matanzas carried out the preparation of the workers who will occupy the fundamental positions prior to the beginning of the 2018-2019 harvest.
According to the institutional communicator, Elaine Rey Gómez, in the execution schedule the kitchen is prioritized, one of the areas of greatest complexity since it will guarantee the quality of the food of the macheteros and workers of the coming contest.
In addition, there was the participation of the Culinary Association in the province, based on the experience in previous years, he said.
“Topics such as: kitchen bases, table in place, food safety, salon techniques, gastronomic ethics, quality and courtesy rules, appearance and personal appearance were addressed.”
The preparation included everything related to occupational safety and health, general and specific instruction of the position, the pre-employment and specialized medical examination, the use of means of protection, as well as the training and distribution of salary.
“An exchange was inserted on the Constitution Project of the Republic, consultation process that has coincided with this stage of preparation”, added Elaine Rey Gómez.
