A productive gift to the eternal Commander in Chief.

When the sun refused to shine workers from several sectors of the Matanzas economy attended this weekend a productive day of voluntary work, in memory of the eternal Commander in Chief Fidel Castro Ruz, just to be commemorated today, November 25, the second anniversary of his physical departure.

“The Historical Leader of the Revolution continues here, along with us, as the eternal guide of an irreversible Socialism,” assured the member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba, Isdalis Rodríguez Rodríguez, general secretary of the Central of Workers of Cuba (CTC) ) in Matanzas, minutes before starting work, in the Basic Unit of Cooperative Production (UBPC) Mocha, in the yumurina city.

To the cleaning of areas dedicated to the cultivation of coffee concentrated their tributes who in the hours of Saturday morning managed to leave without herbs the 5.4 hectares of land, where more than a month ago were planted 18 thousand postures of the demanded grain, for the first time harvested in the UBPC Mocha, the productive emporium of the city of Matanzas.

Pedro Morán, technical head of this production base, thanked Matanzas´s workers for contributing to the materialization of an initiative that tries to resume the cultivation of coffee in some UBPC in the country, a project in which the Mocha serves as a laboratory, said the veteran specialist. A further 22 points in the city, such as the Milanés polyclinic, extended the voluntary work, actions similarly carried out in the thirteen municipalities of the province, most of them dedicated to sanitation and sanitation, a tribute that throughout the country also took place, after the call made by the National CTC, in memory of Ernesto Che Guevara, creator of the voluntary work.
