270 delegates participated in the Assembly X Congress of the Cuban Women Federation in Matanzas municipality, which was attended by the member of the Council of State, general secretary of the women’s organization on the island, Teresa Amarelle Boué.
During the meeting the leader valued positive critical analysis of the federated about the problems that are not yet resolved, primarily in the overall functioning, the political-ideological work with young women in order to revitalize the organization and ensure historical continuity, as well as the policy of cadres.
She said that the federated space is in the blocks and delegations and emphasized its link with the community as a whole with the Committees for the Defense of the Revolution, the Association of Combatants of the Cuban Revolution and the delegates of the People’s Power.
She highlighted the 90-year-old delegate who raised the plenary with her spirit of work and experience, which she transmits daily to the young women grouped in the feminine front, with the assurance that they will be more patriotic and revolutionary every day and will greet the X Congress of the FMC in 2019 more united and combative.
The first secretary of the Party in Matanzas, Teresa Rojas Monzón, member of its Central Committee, congratulated the delegates for having achieved a militant assembly in which the main problems of the organization in the community were exposed.
She also pointed out the need to elevate the protagonism and take the role that corresponds to them with more convening power, as well as to concentrate the efforts in order to transform the negative.
