The composer of Mi casa.cu will continue giving good trova to the Matanzas public. Pleased by the acceptance of his most recent composition, Tony Ávila does not seek any recognition, but dreams of new escalations that will allow him to continue offering his song to his native land.
Tony and his group were presented months ago in a usual rock that lies in the courtyard of the White Room, located in the Historic Center of the Athens of Cuba. He also expressed his intention to return to this space: “I have a rock in the courtyard of the White Room that is dying at this moment, but we hope to give life to this meeting and thus be able to resume it.”
The musician from Cárdenas will catch dreams with the conception of his new record production. With a more attractive dynamic Tony Ávila works on the completion of the CD Atrapa sueños, the album owes its name to a musical theme that is included in the list of songs on the CD itself and will have guests of the stature of the very best musician Beatriz Márquez and several musicians of the Los Van Van orchestra, among others.
Tony Ávila’s group is celebrating its tenth anniversary in 2019 and the musician told Radio 26 that in order to celebrate the tenth anniversary, they will plan a series of concerts throughout the length and breadth of Cuban geography.
