March 20th not only announces the doors of spring, but the rebirth of a new headquarters for the workers of Radio Victoria de Girón, in this southern municipality of Matanzas.
That station was born in the heat of schools in the field of the largest citrus plan in the country in the last century and will reach its 41st anniversary on September 8th.
The birthday will serve to dress a suit to suit you, because Radio Victoria de Girón enhanced its institutional image to offer a better work environment to its collective and generate creative processes where the quality of programming and proximity to its audience prevail.
For Reinold Gil González and his enthusiastic team, it is a dream come true and for those who in one way or another accompanied the endeavors to enhance the radio in Matanzas, a commitment to continue in defense of the beautiful work of the Revolution.
In the memory of those who this March 20th met to celebrate with joy the birth is present commitment to the legacy of work, love of Cuba and loyalty of José Ramón Fernández and Félix Duque Guelmes, who inspired Radio working people in the southern part of Matanzas to grow and multiply.
The radial house of Jagüey Grande was honored along with the town in receiving to authorities of the Party and the Government in the province and the territory; the vice president of the Cuban Institute of Radio and Television, Guillermo Pavón Pacheco; Ricardo Ronquillo Bello, president of the Union of Journalists of Cuba and his counterpart, Yirmara Torres Hernández, along with colleagues, personalities and creators of other stations.
