With more than five centuries of links with the Greater Antilles, Spain was chosen guest country of honor to the 39th edition of the International Tourism Fair of Cuba (FITCuba 2019), a trade meeting this time agreed from 7 to 11 of this month in Havana.
According to the official website of the event, the meeting will be dedicated precisely to the capital of all Cubans as a tourist destination, just in the year that will mark 500 years of the founding of a city with special architectural, cultural and social charms.
The product of events and incentives will be honored at FITCuba 2019, the ideal time for the Island to show its potential in an area that is gaining more and more followers in the leisure industry worldwide.
In several days of meetings and news the largest tourist meeting in the region will be based on the fortress of San Carlos de la Cabaña, an 18th century building that is part of the Historic Center of Old Havana and its Colonial Fortification System, Declared Cultural Heritage of Humanity in 1982.
Professionals and visitors of multinationals will be able to enjoy the varied offer that characterizes Cuba and exchange about the products and services of their places of origin, which will surely want to know about other attractions of a country where events such as the international festivals of Habano or that of Gibara Movies, in Holguín; or the Fire Festival in Santiago de Cuba, to name a few.
