The group of theater Visas, of the University of Matanzas, stood up to the public with the staging Sangre, work of Yunior García. With this presentation, he gets a direct ticket to the auditions of the National Festival of Amateur Artists of the FEU based in the Athens of Cuba next year.

“It caused us great excitement to see the public standing, in addition to being the premiere of the work we were very keen to classify the National Festival. We have participated in other festivals, but for us it is a pride to be part of this to be held in Matanzas, “Danaylis Delgado Fajardo, actress of the collective, told Radio 26.

The team in charge of evaluating the presentation of the work, integrated by Ulises Rodríguez Febles, vice president of the Council of Performing Arts in Matanzas, Pedro Rubí González, actor and section head of Performing Arts of the Hermanos Saíz Association, Martín González Martínez, provincial methodologist of theater and other specialists and actors of the province, pointed out the importance of working with voices, as well as the need to set the pace of the scenes to gain more time in the work.

The jury commented that Visas will give many possibilities for awards in the appointment of university art, for the complexity and content of the text.

Blood addresses about motherhood, sexual responsibility, religion, adolescence, ideologies and society. Topics that come together in the author’s life and that are brought to the stage by these university students who, in addition to constant study in their training as professionals, dedicate time to make a play, a life lesson.
