A batch of sheets of the type cameras is ready to be exported to the Republic of Panama, the main recipient of Unymoda’s manufacturing, one of the most consistent companies in Matanzas responding to the state’s urgency to place Cuban products in international markets.
The new assignment was completed despite the shortage of raw material suffered by the entity belonging to the Gardis Business Group, which “demonstrates the ability of our group to respond to the plan at a time of great need for foreign exchange for the economy of the country”, assured the director of Unymoda, Maribel Rodríguez Argüelles.
Rodríguez Argüelles affirmed that the company directed by her concentrates material and human resources to achieve the acceptance of its products in the international market and to achieve an increase in marketing abroad.
Inserted in the exports since the year 2000, it has been in the last three years when Unymoda has stabilized a path that marked a historical record in 2018, a stage of over-compliance of 68 percent of the exportable plan, a figure that confirms the acceptance of the set of camera sheets.
In the opinion of Rodríguez Argüelles, the possibility of acquiring more quantity and diversity of raw material and thereby increasing the exportable product portfolio is seriously impeded by the resurgence of the United States blockade against Cuba.
Hand in hand with Importer BK import / export, sets of sheets, school uniforms, curtains and belts made in their workshops were also sold in Canada and Honduras.
In charge of producing and commercializing textile garments, the conjugation the previous year of optimal economic and union indicators earned Unymoda the status of National Vanguard, the high category granted by the Cuban Trade Union Workers.
