The 60th Anniversary Assembly of the CDRs was held in the 187 Lázaro González area of the municipality of Matanzas with the presence of Norleny Serpa, municipal coordinator of the CDRs in the city.
The children of the area surprised with their prominence the guests to the appointment, because they took essential part during the meeting with songs, slogans and poems.
In the assembly the deficiencies that still persist at the zonal level were pointed out and the new challenges they will face in greeting at the arrival of the 60th anniversary of the organization.
Mario Díaz Santana, who was reelected as coordinator of the area, said that the issues included in the central balance report are self-critical and revolutionary because of the proposals that reaffirm carrying out the tasks of mass organization.
Tomás Medina Pérez, organizer of the area, warned that the CDRs have undergone changes and fluctuations since its inception: “Now with the impulse of the new direction of the country the management and actions of the Committees must be renewed along with the rest of the improvement national”.
Norleny Serpa urged to reinforce the first-order assigning tasks, such as vigilance and focused special attention on the ideological and political combat from the neighborhoods, these being our first scenarios of struggle.
During his visit, the official was able to verify the progress of the area and the human potential that flourishes there.
“I am greatly moved by the massive children’s participation in this assembly, because today’s children are the continuity of tomorrow. It is comforting to know that the CDRs were born to be eternal, as our Commander described,”said the provincial coordinator of the CDR.
