A great celebration to honor the life of struggle and achievements of Commander in Chief Fidel Castro takes place this August 13 in the province of Matanzas. With the details the head of the Ideological Department of the provincial Committee of the Young Communist League (UJC) Yosiel Oliver Ortega:
“Our organization prepared multiple activities such as sports meetings and political-cultural galas in much of the Matanzas territory. The Palacio de Junco museum in the Yumurina city will host an exhibition of more than 30 photographs dedicated to Fidel. In the portals of that institution, the territorial delegation of the Young Computer and Electronics Club will exchange applications and other technological products with passers-by. ”
Conversations were also planned with combatants of the Cuban Revolution and a day of blood donations in the municipality of Pedro Betancourt.
“The children will live this August 13 as a great birthday, because in the different popular councils parties will be held with clowns, children’s projects and even jams, elaborations that will facilitate us the commerce companies of the different regions. We will also visit children’s homes without subsidiary protection and hospitals such as the municipality of Colón where the Trazancos project will arrive. ”
The invitation is integrated into the summer 2019 Vívelo campaign, which includes the Young Zone, a space for real participation, for community intervention, for mobilization in the neighborhood, for concrete actions that require the competition of the new generations.
The initiative, part of the process that precedes the XI Congress of the UJC, will have on Tuesday several sessions on the importance of thought and the work of the Commander in Chief.
Embodying the ideal of a youth that thinks and is revolutionary by conviction is the main challenge and also the greatest tribute of today’s youth to Fidel, a personality that changed the course of history in Cuba and greatly influenced the struggle to build a world order more equitable and inclusive.
