Convoke to the X Colloquium Day of the Tenth Hispanic American.

The Chair of Studies on the Tenth of the University of Matanzas summons the X Colloquium Day of the Tenth Hispanic American, which will take place from 26th to 29th this month on the eve of the birth of Jesus Orta Ruiz, the Naborí Indian.
Together with the Ibero-American Center of the Tenth and Improvised Verse and the Naborí House, the University of Matanzas organizes this event with the objective of promoting knowledge about the life and work of the highest representative of the decimist tradition in the country.
The work sessions will take place at the Camilo Cienfuegos headquarters of the University, and at the Union of Writers and Artists of Cuba (Uneac). The children of Naborí, the poet and sudden Luis Paz Esquivel (Papillo) and students of the subject from Holguín, Las Tunas, Mayabeque and Matanzas have already confirmed their presence, Carlos Chacón Zaldívar, president of the Chair of Studies on Radio the Tenth Jesus Orta Ruiz.
The presentations may address aspects of the life of the Naborí Indian and his contributions to tradition; research on other representative figures of the oral and written tradition of the tenth, or issues related to events, institutions and groups carrying this lyrical modality.
