In a working meeting headed by the first secretary of the Communist Party of Cuba in this municipality, Anay Martínez Carrión and the vice president of the local government, Teresa Baró Delgado and attended by leaders of the organizations and organizations of the territory, weighted the imperative to prioritize the food production, saving resources, with emphasis on fuel and taking first-hand the claims raised by the people, because we owe that town, said Martínez Carrión.

They indicated to sensibly insure the trips of the means of loading, so that they do not return empty; to control the price of public transport, which cannot be raised by a single cent, while every state car must pick up passengers at the concentration points.
They needed to rescue the means of animal traction for work in agriculture, of which there are 346 yuntas of oxen in the territory and a considerable number of cars and steering wheels, which we must add in order to solve the problems.
Special emphasis was placed on food, economic and financial self-management of Los Arabos, as of all Cuban municipalities.
