Repair Ernst Thaelmann Industrial Polytechnic Institute of Matanzas.

With a capital of 400 thousand pesos and the human and material resources offered by various companies and entities of Matanzas, a comprehensive repair process has been carried out since June 6th of this year at the Ernst Thaelmann Industrial Polytechnic Institute, of this Province.
Enoel Rosales Cedeño, director of the teaching institution, referring to the objects of work included in this investment expressed.
“It includes part of the school because there are work objects that remain for a second stage that is already in the province’s investment plan.
“This first stage includes the student shelters and the socio-administrative building where the offices of the management, secretariat and the staff room are located.”
On the shelters, said the director of the Thalmann, the area where the most significant investment is made, the work is going according to plan and with quality.
“They are already at a level of wall and enclosure to place cover, then the work of laying floors, hydro-sanitary facilities will arrive, but with all that more or less for the second half of October it will be giving the habitable.
“These dormitories consist of eight cubicles with capacity for eight students each.”
To this are added other actions aimed at conditioning the premises for the doctor’s office and the cafeteria, in addition to the repair of classrooms and workshops, the cleaning and efficient use of the green areas and large lands that the center has.
“The government is assuming with the one percent of the territorial contribution other financial resources that are needed to deliver all the work in December.
“All this investment process is checked every Monday by the main authorities of the province and those responsible for the entities involved in this repair of the school. It is an activity that is going well because it has allowed the executors to be stimulated much more, because we already have classrooms that will have to do very little with the 2020 investment plan”.
What entities are involved in this process? “The Electric Company and the thermoelectric Antonio Guiteras with a very outstanding job since they recovered classrooms and premises that were not in the program, but also involved Commerce and Gastronomy, Community Services and Public Health. “In addition, the companies of the Ministry of Industry, the Fund for Cultural Property, Transportation and Self-Employed Workers contribute.”
It is an initial work that, in the words of Rosales Cedeño, director of that industrial polytechnic of Matanzas, determines a second stage.
“We entered 2020 with a capital repair of the school, which although it would be less, we intend to work in the kitchen-dining room, repair the production area and build a theater.”
With these projections, the investment program of the Ernst Thaelmann Industrial Polytechnic Institute, the center of Cuban secondary education, opened on April 16, 1964 to train the technicians required by the industrial sector of Matanzas.
