The need to manage and establish more effective mechanisms in pursuit of customer satisfaction will encourage the days of the International Quality Convention Havana 2019, an appointment scheduled from September 30th to October 3rd to come, in the capital Palace of Conventions.
The meeting, in its II edition, will allow the update and exchange between executives, businessmen, specialists, academics, producers, importers, marketers and technicians, among others.
According to the note from Business in Cuba, published by Prensa Latina, the meeting will be tempting for personnel linked to quality management, food safety, risk analysis and metrology.
So far, 700 delegates from eleven countries, national, international, regional organizations and companies from several of the Island’s ministries are expected to participate.
A distinctive moment will undoubtedly be the delivery of the National Quality Award of the Republic of Cuba, an instant set for the day of the opening of the event, on Monday 30, lauro on multiple occasions obtained by the Architecture and Engineering Projects Company (EMPAI), of Matanzas.
«The quality of goods and services, premise of commerce, guarantee of the citizen» serves as the motto of a notorious meeting also for the conference program that, as announced, will feature prominent personalities, among which Sergio Mujica, secretary General of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO); Ricardo Rodríguez Fragoso, president of the Pan American Commission of Technical Standards, and Dr. Joachim H. Ullrich, president of the National Metrology Institute of Germany.
The agenda will be covered by topics related to trade, tourism, construction, education and training, transport, health and biotechnology, food, energy, information and communications technologies.
The list of distinctive participants includes Ghillerme Da Costa Silva, president of the Codex Alimentarius of Brazil; Manuel Guerrero, general director of the Dominican Institute for Quality; Sergio Toro and José Durán Guillén, executive directors of the Institutes of Standardization and Quality of Chile and Bolivia, respectively. Industry 4.0 and quality infrastructure, standardization in relation to innovation, digitalization and its international projection, will also be analyzed.
Parallel to the convention will be exhibition fair, convening companies with quality management systems and certified products and services. According to the organizers, representatives of the non-state sector, specialized firms and other national and foreign entities with management systems may expose their products, services and materials related to the topics of the event.
