Ezequiel Rodríguez Cazañas is an Illustrious Son of Los Arabos. He joined education since the literacy campaign, as a literacy teacher.
In 1962 he prepared a preparation for popular teachers because of the lack of teachers in the country. He has worked on different teachings.
“Pedagogy, classes, the classroom, students are part of my life, life that I have dedicated entirely to education. I feel very satisfied and accomplished with the tasks that I have developed. ”
He has received different awards, decorations and that really has meant for him a greater commitment to work, for the improvement of Education, stimuli that further devote him to the work he does at 75 years of age.
The teacher of Los Arabos, with 57 years active, teaches in the pre-university of the municipality. His outstanding career has earned him significant awards and distinctions, including the Second Country Frank Country Order, granted by the State Council of the Republic of Cuba.
