Matanzas, among the provinces that save the most in the country.

The province of Matanzas met the daily energy consumption and to date has saved more than 300 megawhatts as it transpired in the daily check of the implementation of the measures to address the current fuel deficit in the country.

In that space Liván Izquierdo Alonso, the first secretary of the provincial Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba, insisted on reordering transportation in rural areas, in the transfer of students to educational centers and eradicating illegalities in the collection of tickets.

In the area of ​​food, the reprogramming of the production of beef and pork was debated to comply with the contract. Likewise, emphasis was placed on controlling feed and egg production that has a deficit of more than 27 thousand units.

In addition, the next voluntary work was reported on Sunday, October 6th, in all the territories to which the population is called.

In the case of the municipality of Matanzas, the areas surrounding Las Ruinas de Matasiete, the El Tenis and Los Pinitos beaches, as well as the Martí promenade will be sanitized.

As part of the citizen participation, in the daily check, the opinions and complaints of the population related to the electrical, health service, solid waste collection and price violation were analyzed.
