The development achieved in endoscopic, diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, as well as the debate on digestive diseases, are some of the central themes of the VII International Congress of Gastroenterology, held at the Convention Center in Havana, Cuba, until 25th October 2019.
Lectures, work sessions and a commercial exhibition, among other activities, are part of the event program that has the presence of prestigious doctors and other specialists from Cuba and the world.
Colleagues from several regions share new techniques and trends for the diagnosis and treatment of digestive diseases.
Some of the topics to be discussed are: Disorders of digestive motility and intestinal functional diseases, digestive cancer, inflammatory bowel diseases, quality in practice and teaching of digestive endoscopy, among other topics.
According to Travel Trade Caribbean, the development of a Scientific-Commercial Exhibition allows companies, international organizations, laboratories, universities, research centers and specialized firms, both national and foreign, to have an exceptional opportunity to exhibit and market their products, equipment, technologies and other materials related to the themes of the conclave.
As the Organizing Committee states, “this is the first time that Cuban gastroenterologists met in a great appointment without the physical presence of our founding fathers: professors Raimundo Llanio and Manuel Paniagua. With a refreshing spirit and in homage to his memory, we have organized this event in which we intend to show the best professional experience in the interest of the digestive health of the sick. ”
