The organization of the International Salsa Festival entered the final stretch of the preparations, which will hold its Fifth edition from February 25th to March 1st, in Havana.
Chaired by its creator, Maykel Blanco, musician, composer and conductor of the Salsa Mayor orchestra, among the main attractions of this event of great popularity since its first edition, there is undoubtedly the participation of 19 orchestras, the ones with the highest call and quality in the country that cultivate the genus.
According to Travel Trade Caribbean, the presence of a special guest, the Puerto Rican singer Víctor Manuelle, who for the first time will perform in Cuba and for both him and the public, has created great expectations.
This year the Festival moves its headquarters to the newly opened Paseo Marítimo de 1ra and 70, in Miramar, because the public is larger every year and the space of the Metropolitan Park is becoming small, something that will not happen this time.
The public, in addition to dancing with several orchestras every night, will enjoy the art of DJs, as well as Cuban and international dancers of recognized talent.
Participants to this festival will have the possibility through Paradiso, Cultural Tourism Agency of ARTEX and receptive to the event, to attend the inaugural dinner; to the Great Theater of Havana, Alicia Alonso, in addition to participating in dance workshops, visiting the National School of Art and enjoying other surprises prepared by its organizers.
