Matanzas advocacy celebrates 55th anniversary of the Collective Law Offices.

The lawyers of this western territory; some wearing their typical togas and others, the red color that identifies the victorious Matanzas baseball team, commemorated on January 22 the 55th anniversary of the creation of the first collective law firm in Cuba, a fact that marked the beginning of the transformation of the legal profession private and exclusive that prevailed in the country by a system of deep popular character and humanist conception.

The provincial act for the date, carried out in the Hall of Mirrors of the Sauto theater in the city of Cebecera, was an occasion to recognize men and women with commendable performance in the exercise of a profession that deals with advising, representing or defending the rights of a natural person or entity before the courts of justice, arbitration bodies and administrative bodies.

On behalf of those who were honored, Mr. Nelson González Ponce, from the municipality of Cárdenas, thanked the organization for its training, highlighted the values ​​that should characterize a man of law and the commitment that comes with the award given.

Likewise, the directors of the institutions of the judicial system and a total of 58 jurists with 20 or more years of sustained trajectory in these units that provide specialized attention to citizenship were distinguished with the Commemorative Seal 55 ONBC anniversary.

In the presence of officials of the Party and Government of the territory, authorities of legal institutions and a large representation of legal professionals, the provincial board of directors of the National Organization of Collective Law Firms (ONBC) awarded the Toga of Honor to five lawyers with outstanding trajectory and ethical exemplarity.
