Some 134 papers distributed in six symposia were presented by Matanzas educators to the Provincial Pedagogy 2021 Event, a crucial appointment in the teaching field, to share experiences, scientific results and good practices always aimed at improving the work of those who give themselves on a daily basis to the noble work of the magisterium.
For the first time in the 17 editions of this annual meeting, the sessions were held virtually, a modality with proven effectiveness in times of global pandemic and that now allowed the participants of the contest to interact, which included speakers, courts and guests from the network of the pedagogical sector of this western territory.
Raudel Cuba Jiménez, methodologist of the scientific activity in the Education system in Matanzas and president of the organizing committee of the event, specified to Radio 26 that the meeting was held for two days and in unison with the municipalities.
The headquarters were located in the Videoconferencing room of the Provincial Directorate of Education, a suitable space to view the exhibitions of the works and develop specialized debates and exchanges on them.
The program began with three symposia that included 77 presentations, whose themes revolved around inclusive, equitable and quality education, training in values for a culture of peace and the need for greater insertion in the history of the town and education. environmental.
On the second day, the three planned symposia included various investigations related to the comprehensive instruction of children, adolescents and young people, issues related to professional development, and the potential of science and technology in terms of education.

According to the information, 20 investigations will represent the Matanzas educational sector during the 2021 International Pedagogy Congress, scheduled for the beginning of February in Havana, and so far also programmed as a virtual space, meeting the health requirements of the new normality imposed by COVID-19 in the world.
The Pedagogy event is held every two years in the Cuban provinces, with the aim of exchanging pedagogical experiences among teachers, aimed at improving education in the country.
