Researchers and specialists who presented various scientific-technical and technological topics at the activity.
Historian Julián Rogelio Álvarez López began the celebration of the Cuban Science Day at the Manuel Navarro Luna Library inPedreo Betancourt municipality with a historical sketch of the scientific progress of our Island and its exponents.
The event featured a panel of researchers who discussed topics such as the potential of beekeeping in Betancourt, agricultural machinery and the rise of Artificial Intelligence, as well as the bibliographic collections of the Center for Documentation and Pedagogical Information and the current economic situation of the nation.
Likewise, the working groups of the Gustavo González Pérez Museum, the Enrique Pérez Triana Art Gallery, the Cuba Theater, the bookstore and the library itself, as well as the municipal departments of Culture and the Ministry of Science, Technology and Environment and local personalities from different social sectors, were honored for their research contributions to the scientific-technical development of the Island.
In this regard, speakers Demetrio Elizalde Sotomayor, retired from the Cuban Institute of Radio and Television, and Manuel Fagundo Hernández, a specialist in Mechanical Engineering, respectively shared their experiences with our radio station.

Cuban Science Day celebrates the historic phrase pronounced in January 1960 by our Commander-in-Chief to promote the scientific and professional development of the Revolution, based on men of science and thought.
Pioneers of the José Antonio Echeverría elementary school also paid tribute to the life, work and legacy of our National Hero José Martí.
