Under the title «That crazy thing …» (dramatic dance variations to the rhythm of mambo), a show like work in progress will be presented by young actors, puppeteers and dancers from the companies Teatro de Las Estaciones, El Portazo, Espiral Dance and Novadanza, grouped by Yadiel Durán in his Choreographic Theater project.
The culture of a country gathers the best of its traditions, the artistic heritage of its people and the elements that make up its idiosyncrasy. In Cuba there are various exponents of the various manifestations that, by themselves, embody the most representative of the development of cultural identity.
After several years of absence from the Matanzas capital, Teatro D’Sur returned to yumurinos stages to offer its most recent premiere. No-man’s land, version of a play written two decades ago by the Chilean playwright Jorge Diaz, meant the return to the tables of Pedro Vera, director of the ensemble, representing some of the leading characters of the piece.
In the summer, cultural programming is strengthened in the province of Matanzas. The performing arts organized their bags with the energies to transmit colorful and talented to the areas further away from the provincial head. A necessary tour that shortens distances for art.
