On February 12, 1964, the revolutionary poet Manuel Navarro Luna read his verses at the Matanzas Art Gallery. It was his last performance in his native province. Those same verses dressed of the hidalguía of the independentistas heroes of the Greater of the Antilles, they stained his letters of white, blue and red to exalt the flag. That same spirit planted him in history and culture as one of the most important intellectuals of the last years.
