Clinical Tests Update Session to be held in Matanzas.

This Friday, the Clinical tests Update Workshop was held at the Hotel Louvre, in the city of Matanzas, in charge of the Molecular Immunology Center.

The event aimed to evaluate the conduct and results of clinical trials during the year 2022 in the province, with a special focus on those currently being conducted in the territory in multiple oncological diseases and others such as Alzheimer’s, according to Dr. Leticia Cabrera Benítez, delegate of the Center for Molecular Immunology.

The programme, which opened a 9:00 a.m., began with the presentation of the results of clinical research by Doctor of Science Mayra Ramos Suzarte, head of the Department of Clinical Tests at the institution, and other presentations by health professionals of Matanzas city.
Some of the oncological pathologies addressed in the event were cervical and lung cancer.
