In Matanzas, a direct delegate to the Cederista Congress is elected (+audio)

The Revolution Defense Committees (CDR) in the province of Matanzas immersed in the process of strengthening the X Congress of the organization recognized on Wednesday the family doctor, Dr. Xiovery Hernandez Fleites as a direct delegate to the meeting for his outstanding contribution to the tasks of the neighborhood.

Hernandez Fleites with an active work in community work stands out among the cederistas who are involved with social transformation projects to raise the quality of life of the population and the formation of values in the new generations.

Visibly moved, the enthusiastic family doctor resides in the Reynold García neighborhood, where the members of CDR No. 7 of zone 125 deserved the election of the only direct delegate from the province to the Congress of the largest mass organization in the country.

Yobany Gil, head of the Ideological Department of the Provincial Committee of the Party and Norlenis Serpa, coordinator of the CDRs in the territory, attended the emotional ceremony in the very place where his neighbors recognized him.

Serpa commented on the importance of maintaining the connection with the neighborhood, in addition to electing delegates in which the people feel represented.

He also highlighted the cederista work of Dr. Xiovery Hernandez, «he has a great record as a grassroots leader of the CDR since he was 17 years old, he has made 71 blood donations and held several positions within the organization, as well as fulfilled several international missions as a doctor in the fight against Ebola and COVID-19».
