The Minister of Public Health in Cuba, Dr. Roberto Morales Ojeda visited several medical institutions in the Matanzas territory to highlight the transformations experienced by the sector.
The nursing school received the first visit, followed by the polyclinic Reynol García, of the People’s Council of Versailles, a center that expands its capacities to take emergency services and x-rays 24 hours a day, an observation room and stomatological assistance.
In addition to the constructive repair that is expected to end by May 1st, it is essential for its smooth operation to perfect the task of primary health care, said the Minister.
Already at the hospital José Ramón López Tabrane, Matancera public health executives exposed the constructive situation of this hospital to assume maternity services. At 46% of its execution, the project has a delivery date for July 26.
The main arrangements are intended for intensive care rooms, prenatal and pregnant, as well as the conditioning of spaces for neck pathology, physiological puerperium and surgical unit.
Faced with some imperfections, Morales Ojeda called for preserving the quality and culture of detail.
