Las Estaciones Theater at the 17th International Theater Festival of Havana

Since 1997 Teatro de Las Estaciones has been a constant presence in the Cuban panorama of the Festival de Teatro de La Habana (FTH), the most important international event that convenes the Island from the National Council of the Performing Arts. In issue number 17 the group puppeteer of Matanzas presents The Two Princes, a romance between lights and shadows of Maria Laura German Aguiar, from the well-known poem of Jose Marti, published in the magazine The Golden Age.

Winner of the Villanueva Prize for theatrical criticism, Caricato de la Uneac for Best Staging in Children’s Theater and the Rubén Vigón of Scenic Design for the Best Costume, the montage can be appreciated at Teatro de la Orden Tercera, located in Oficios street, corner to Churruca, in Old Havana, on Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd, in double functions, at 10:30 am and 4:00 pm.

Four roles with a mixed cast, made up of young actors from Las Estaciones and Matanzas theaters El Portazo and El Mirón Cubano. A unique opportunity offered by the FTH, within a varied sample, coming from various Cuban provinces and the world.
