Che encourages a direct delegate to the XXI Workers’ Congress.

Che’s legacy always encourages us, it became the forceful phrase with which Yosvany Rivero González began the words of thanks to his colleagues from the Yumurí cracker factory, who unanimously elected him a direct delegate to the final sessions of the XXI Congress of the Trade Workers Union (CTC), the great event set for January 2019.

“I feel the immense pride of representing men and women who fight every day not to let die the industry that Ernesto Guevara asked us to keep working forever,”  said in a choked voice the employee of the team visited in early 1960 by the unforgettable Heroic Guerrilla Fighter.

Making the equipment work with stability, as he called us, is the mission that I fulfill with the immense joy of belonging to a movement of innovators that repares equipment with more than 80 years of exploitation so that the people of Matanzas continue to receive a product such as biscuit, so liked. ”

Mercedes Hernández Morgan, general secretary of the Provincial Bureau of the Trade Union of Workers of the Food and Fisheries, said to  Radio 26 that the Yumurí factory is the only center of that union recognized with a direct delegate, an option that allows to attend the final phase of the XXI Congress of the Trade Workers union without having to go through the traditional way of the process that begins with the nomination to the candidacy, which may or may not end up being elected delegate.

Yosvany Rivero González thus became the second of eight direct delegates granted to the province of Matanzas, territory that in recent days chose the first of them in the emblematic hotel Sol Palmeras, a merit that fell to Arnaldo Díaz.
