In his hand, a bottle of rum; in his head, a hat to listen to music from Mexico at full volume; to move, a horse and a “spider” at full speed. It’s not a movie from the West, the scene belongs to San Antonio de Cabezas, a weekend night.
Unscrupulous riders, owners of the streets, sidewalks, parks, any scenario serves to show and make public their skills on a helpless animal that frightened acts by force of the whips that the brute and mindless gives him that rides and hits him wildly in view of everyone.
The horrible street show brings together dozens of non-sensitive people who applaud and praise the virtues of the true animal that dresses as a human being against the decoration and integrity of the parks, mocks the traffic laws, eludes the authorities, ridicules the sensible they fight what is badly done and risk their safety and that of children, young people, the elderly, women, and that of all who appear in their path.
The stories of the fateful incidents linked to these social indisciplines are as varied as they are painful, from the coworker kicked in the abdomen by a loose horse near his house, to the child being run over by a rider who moved to the speed of light at night.
How much more do we have to wait for more severe measures to be applied against those who are involved in disorders of this nature?
I remain optimistic, I have a lot of faith in a future where human betterment prevails, meanwhile, I endure how people hide to make love, while violence practice in broad daylight, while I settle for being civilized Like the animals.
