Matanzas gets to one hundred thousand tons of sugar.

The province of Matanzas has reached one hundred thousand tons of sugar in the current harvest 21018-2019, according to the director of the Sugar Company, Ricardo Sánchez Calero.

According to the manager, the territory is the sixth national level to reach the figure and represents a new step to reduce the remaining tons for compliance with the plan.

The mills today maintain milled levels above 50 percent and the sugar mill Mario Muñoz, in Los Arabos, exceeds the production of refined sugar.

When less than twenty days remain until the end of the harvest in Matanzas, the contribution of each worker in the sugar industry is decisive in promoting the Cuban export sector.
