Construction Minister René Mesa Villafaña checked the progress of the investment process, the plan of the economy and the continuity of the Matanzas 325 Program in the province.
The head of the sector learned about the investments in the housing program, of the completion of 1,381 houses, of which 338 by subsidy and 753 by own effort.
In the case of the local production of materials, it was explained that there are energy and resource effects (steels, aggregates, cement) that have limited manufacturing levels in the territory.
Also, the progress of the works on Medio Street was evaluated, an investment that is expected to end next December. In this sense René Mesa Villafaña urged to take advantage of the workday and resources.
In the sphere of Community Services, the restoration of vaults, niches and ossuaries in the San Carlos cemetery was explained. The works that will improve hospital infrastructure and Public Health services were also exhibited.
During the visit, investments in education, agriculture and entities dedicated to commerce and gastronomy were also checked.
