Dr. Francisco Durán, National Director of Epidemiology of the Ministry of Public Health of Cuba, in its usual conference of press on national television reported the death of two people, both male, one 71 years old, of Havana, and the other 82, resident in the Martí municipality, of the Matanzas province.
Thirteen thousand 903 samples were made and 659 were positive. Today in country, eleven thousand 304 patients are admitted; of them, four thousand 187 are suspects, 2,225 are under surveillance and 4,892 were confirmed. Of those admitted, 18 are in critical condition and 21 are serious.
Of the 659 confirmed, the provinces with the highest incidents are: Havana, with 312; Santiago de Cuba, 71; Ciego de Ávila, 55; Villa Clara, 53; Matanzas, 36; Guantánamo, 32 and Mayabeque 31.
