Matanzas Crocodiles shortstop Moisés Esquerré will be discharged after the departure of Yurisbel Gracial, who will leave on Friday the 12th to fulfill his contract with the SoftBank Falcons, in the Japanese Baseball League. Esquerré, who returned to Matanzas after a season with the Cazadores de Artemisa, served as the starting shortstop for the Yumurino team at the start of the season until an injury prevented him from participating in the current season for numerous subseries.
In the young shortstop’s recovery period, the incorporations of the players Yadil Mujica and Bárbaro Erisbel Arruebarruena were added, for which Esquerré maintained his preparation until he again received the opportunity to align with the current champions.
Shortstop Moisés Esquerré will be included in the roster of the 29 players from the Matanzas team who will travel to Sancti Spíritus to begin his participation in the quarterfinals of the 60th National Baseball Series against the Elephants of Cienfuegos.
