Cimex and the Cuban Fund for Cultural Assets (FCBC) in Matanzas strengthen their relationships in line with the requirements of the Ordering Task in the country, said Aida Isabel Cruz Martínez, head of the Development and Marketing Group of the Branch in the territory.
She explained Cruz Martínez that for several months CIMEX and the Fund have been negotiating forms of payment and priorities, and stressed that the territories are given freedom to evaluate products, prices and units where they will be placed.
It is a new opportunity to diversify suppliers, circumvent the economic and financial blockade of the United States against Cuba, and stimulate national production. We work to make national suppliers the largest source of merchandise for our units, she added.
In the Variedades shopping center, located in the central Calle del Medio, in the city of Matanzas, since February 27th, FCBC productions have been offered in freely convertible currency, and it is intended to expand that presence to other stores in the so-called Atenas de Cuba, the famous tourist center of Varadero and the city of Cárdenas.
According to http://www.cimex.cu/es, Corporación CIMEX SA constitutes a commercial company with more than 40 years of creation, which imports, exports, produces and markets goods and services, aimed at satisfying the growing needs of customers and guarantee contributions to the country’s economy, with advanced technological supports, high credibility and renewed quality.
